This is a wonderful collection, Dawn, and very moving. Nerdanel as a little girl is so palpable, as if I could reach out and touch her. You have created a real little girl. Of course, I love the description of her as an adolescent in the library trying to educate herself on the anatomy of the male Elf! That was adorable, and reminded me of when I used to sneak a peek at my father's steamy novels when no one was watching! And Nerdanel posing for Feanor was HOTT! And the last one! OMG, it is so poignant! When she can't read the letters anymore - my God! I got a pang reading that one!

These are simply brilliant. What an inspired idea.
