Caranthir is quickly turning into one of my favorite muses! It helps that a pretty hefty majority of my flist are Caranthir fangurls, so I find myself writing a lot about him, but the guy fascinates me besides. Even when I don't give him osanwe (like I do in AMC), the relationship between the three middle brothers just begs to be written. They seem to have been paired off: Mae and Maglor, the twins (of course), and--one would assume--Caranthir and Celegorm: dark and fair. And if you go with the idea that Curufin is the fifth-born, that puts them closer in age than Celegorm and Curufin too. So it makes me wonder what happened to make Celegorm choose Curufin over Carni.

I'm also working on another Caranthir story for Vana's return-from-camp birthday, but that one won't have Haleth in it. I can't wait to read yours; they're one of my favorite AU pairings. (Next after Maedhros and Fingon...of course. ;^D)
