Yay! I can't say that you're the first one to "get it" (because maybe others have also "gotten it" but just haven't written in), but I believe that you are the first to mention the extramarital affairs of Eressetor's mother. That was the reason also why she didn't defend Eressetor in the last chapter when he got caught paddling naked around the reflecting pool with "Glorfindel"--because she got caught in an act far worse!

For the record, I don't blame her either. Eressetor's family almost makes the Feanorians look normal, though.

Anyway (since I'm at my usual loss for words here), this was a great, very deep chapter (as usual :)), and I'm waiting eagerly for more! :)
