The ending of this story actually comes from an obscure passage in HoMe. Because I'm geeky and cruel like that. ;)

Perhaps because I work for Parole and Probation, I have trouble not imagining the Halls like some spiritual version of the same thing. Only without regular urine tests. And hopefully agents that can spell better than ours do!

Tryiing hard to look for any unreferenced pronouns, but I'm sure they've crept in.
