On the Eve of Busch Gardens!

Tonight, we are leaving for Busch Gardens. This time tomorrow, I could be hanging upside-down, screaming my head off. And, no, that is not some weird S&M custom but a good thing. (Swear!)

I was neglectful again yesterday because this D&D campaign has decided to be time-consuming. But time-consuming in a good way! In other words, I am participating now and not orchestrating, which feels better because I was getting kind of lonely manning (wo-manning?) my empty ship.

I should mention that our AC has been fixed, too, in the apartment. I came home yesterday to a nice cold home. Good thing, too, because it's been so hot in central Maryland this week that schools have been closing early. Ai! But apparently, the email that Bobby sent to the apartment was never received, and so he called and they promised to send someone right away the next day, tip-tip number-one priority. Which they apparently did because it was done by the time Bobby got home.

I had a proud moment today: I took an '80s music quiz and got an 88.05%! Proud...more like scary! But it wasn't naming song titles or artists but filling in missing lyrics, and so I did well. (Although I might do surprisingly well on the former as well, thanks to Bobby, who is a bona fide '80s music nut. Or just a nut, whichever you prefer.)

Well, this will be a short entry because I have to tidy my office so that Johnny doesn't have to work amid my garbage tomorrow. Hopefully, I won't fall out of any rollercoasters or anything and will be back on Monday to tell the tale of our first summer quest. (I've been doing too much RPGing!) Bobby has told me twice now about how a long-haired girl was scalped on a theme park ride. I have long hair. I will be wearing a bun tomorrow.
Eagerly yours,

LATER.... (not much later, 2:11 PM)
Remember the truck study? I was cleaning up a pile of papers on my desk and found the results, which I never posted:

Days stuck behind a truck: 10 (53%)
Days NOT stuck behind a truck: 9 (47%)

Does that prove the absence of a confirmation bias? I'm not convinced. Funny thing, too: Since the conclusion of the truck study, I've hardly been stuck behind one at all. Maybe there was some kind of crazy construction in the area that has since finished? Dunno....
Analytically yours,
