Oh okay, I had some time to do a bit of googling in between, but it was not what I thought it was that is Chiaroscuro (light modelling in painting, drawing or printmaking, where three-dimensional volume is suggested by highlights and shadow - often called "shading"). I am already happy that I have the patience to stay within the lines when drawing ;)
