By the Light of Roses--Chapter Fourteen

Last week, tension mounted in the House of Fëanáro as the family showed definitive signs of fracturing. Fëanáro continued to obsess secretly over his estranged wife, devoting all of his time and energy to artwork on her, excluding his family and his lover.

This week, Eressetor will get his revenge and a semblance of balance will be restored in the family. Noldorin history, however, threatens to topple even this tenuous peace.

This is the next-to-last chapter in this story.

Please remember that this story is rated for adults only for reasons of sexuality and mature themes and contains slash. My thanks to everyone who is reading along! As usual, all comments are welcomed.

Short Stories Finished and a Brief Pondering on Shocking Endings for Stories

I'm crazy. Well, that's not news for some.

I had an unexpectedly Johnny-free day today. He came into my office at about 8:30, announced that he had some personal stuff to take care of, and that he wouldn't be back unless I needed him. Much as I like Johnny the Boss, the office is so quiet when I'm there by myself, the phone rings half as often, and I get so much done. (Also, it feels less weird to write pr0n when I know he's not going to be waltzing in at an inopportune moment....)

I was really in the mood to write today, so after taking care of some odds and ends that I've been neglecting, I opened up a clean MS Word document, made a quick, six-point outline, and I was off.

I wrote from about 10 a.m. till 4 p.m. (with an hour's break for lunch) and finished the story. Whew. It totals about 6,700 words.
