Happy birthday Dawn! How great that you got to spend it with an angsty Arafinwë. ;)

I really liked this story, filled as it was with those wonderful little observations you make on the characters, like Arafinwë only carving in media that will not hold its form. His "dream" was eerily nightmare-like, and the image of Carnistir's heartbreak reaching him across the shores is just.. well heartbreaking. :( Thank you for sharing a gift with us on your special day.
