Woohoo! I have finally got up to date with all your chapters (RL has been busy lately - I didn't realise how much I needed to sit down and relax and do something nice like read fics!), and this fic just gets better and better! Carnistir is absolutely wonderful - I love seeing the world through his eyes (and brain!). He has that wonderful child's logic that is incredibly charming.

I love the interactions between Nelyo and Macalaurë, just how close they are...and I want to scoop Macalaurë up in a hug when he gets lonely like that (OTOH I always want to hug Macalaurë, but there you go).

Can't wait till you bring in Findekáno!!

And now you've got me looking through my books trying to work out when Tolkien switched Carnistir and Curufinwë's order! When I first started this fic I'd been reading PoME, where Curufinwë is the elder, and it wasn't till I checked the Silmarillion that I noticed he swaps them over at some point. Thanks for making me notice! *lol*

Wonderful! Just so...matter of fact! Carnistir has a fantastic way of putting things in a new perspective! And I did giggle lots when he got totally the wrong idea after hearing his parents' voices in head...that was very sweet.
