Wow, I bet the fruit was good in it! I made a pizza the other week using plums in the (tomato) sauce. I am a firm believer that fruits are underused in cooking. :)
Here, we also tend to make veggie lasagna as Angelica is describing it: mostly with eggplant and squash. I would have never thought of bean sprouts, carrots, or cabbage either! :D
