It's 5 PM ...
Well, I'm starting to get a little shaky, so I think it's time to break for supper. Writing requires eating for two: me and the muses. I'd forgotten how strenuous it is. (I know. I talk like I haven't written in years. Well, I haven't written intensely and regularly in years. An hour here and there on a story doesn't count.)
Anyway, as of 5 PM, I have roughly 6,800 words on my story. I've been writing for nine hours now, so I'm more than a third there. Yippee! And, to quote Monty Python, "I'm not dead yet." Once I have something to eat, I think I'll be suitably spunky once again to make it to my 15,000-word goal and maybe then some!
Bobby's finishing up some stuff outside (he just visited my window with Rose), then we're off to supper. Right now, I am engaging in an extensive debate with myself about whether going to El Rodeo requires me to put on a bra. Just imagine what I'll be thinking about come 5 AM!
