Nelyo is back, finally!

Yay! I was beginning to think you would not be posting today, but I'm very happy that you did and that we've finally got some news from the boys. Also, I was a little worried to see no sign of life from you on monday but I'm glad to hear that you have had a great week-end and some rest.

The chapters in Makalaure's POV always have something charming and entertaining. I just loved him when he was muttering curses and being all revolted against his borther's behaviour.

<<If he had children, he’d probably want them fed and bathed and the babies diapered by the time he got back. He’d probably be surprised that I didn’t have a tit they could suck.>>

Ai! LoooooL! This was sooo cute. Makalaure was down right smoochable throughout the entire scene.

<<“He is human, Macalaurë,” Nelyo adds, as though reading my thoughts. >>

Umm... maybe not the best choice of words when talking about an Elf. They wouldn't know anything about what it's like to be human because humans didn't even exist at the time and the Elves knew nothing of their comming until Melkor gave that away. I'm sure you know this and the line was just a slip. The meaning, though, is well placed.

<<Tyelkormo once, at a festival, made a rude demand of one of grandfather’s servants, and Atar’s retribution was swift and loud, and Tyelkormo spent the rest of the meal in an apron, refilling water glasses.>>

Go Feany! I can certainly see that happening.

<< “I’ll build a fountain for you in my pants / A sturdy tower reaching above in my pants.” >>

Aaaa... it's good to have pervy Nelyo back. I've missed naughty things such as these.

<<all of Nelyo’s courtships end in the same place, with broken hearts and tarnished reputations.>>

Ouch! Double ouch when thinking about his first attempted bethrotal and tripple ouch for his second one.

<<Perhaps she would settle for the eldest son of the high prince?” he teases.

“Perhaps,” Nelyo says, grinning, and drinking more wine.

I feel chills prickle my arms, as though Nelyo—despite his inebriety—had orchestrated that very question.>>

o_O Uh-oh! I'm sensing something here. But then again... I'm so paranoyed about Nelyo that I'll sense lots of things behind everything relating to him. Could it be? I wonder...
