impressive

It is remarkably impressive how great you were able to work with the little information that we are given on Finarfin and his fate, especially after the flight of his people. I may never be a true Finarfin fan (I am just too bloody partial to the Feanorians and the whole idea of rebelling), but I have opened my eyes and at least given the poor Elf some credit.

I can hear Feanor snorting behind me as we read the essay. Arrogant creep! By the time we are done, though, he looks a little thoughtful, tapping a finger to his forehead and muttering something like: "Well, if you put it that way... I supose it was not the easiest of tasks for my litle brother." I am naturally surprised by his admission and the fact that he has just said brother, not half-brother. Then he goes on and awes me even more: "I never would have thought that Arafinwe would pull it off, but he did it quite well." I am tempted to say that he pulled off a formidable job and the history books credit him with close to nothing, while the other hot-heads earnd themselvs pages of heroics and eventually got themselves killed. Of course, I keep this comment to myself, and simply say: "Just imagine how painful it must have been to lose all his children to exile." As I can see him cringe, I realize I have successfully put my foot in it again.

Annarien is not under the influence of any herb or mushroom while writing this comment. Which can only mean that she has finally gone bananas and has started openly conversing with imaginary hawt, temperamental Noldo.
