She's an obscure one from Lost Tales; she was the Queen of Tol Eressea, who refused make Ælfwine immortal by giving him limpe until he'd listened to more stories. Originally, the leadership of and dwelling (a house in a circle of elms) on Tol Eressea were attributes of Erinti, but Concept 1 Erinti, a goddess of love, beauty and song with familial connections to Salmar and Amillo, was split into Meril and Concept 2 Erinti, the character who became Ilmare.
