When I still wrote songs instead of stories, I used to close myself in the hall bathroom at my parents house. It was windowless, and the fan turned on with the light, so the white noise blocked all but the most egregious house-sounds. I wrote a lot of songs and poems in there. :^P
When I got my laptop, my dad was going to get me a network cable long enough that I could work in the bathroom too.
I think it has something to do with the white noise and the fact that my mind is free to wander without even outside noises to distract me.
I hope that ginormous project includes my b'day fic! LOL! BTW, what do you want from me for YOUR b'day fic this year???
Do you still want a Noldor-just-arrived-in-Middle-earth story?
As for my story, I don't really have any requests. You know my favorite characters; anything with the Feanorians or one of the other characters that I like would be wonderful. :)
