*sigh* It's so great to come back to this story and rediscover all the details that impressed me so much the first time I read it... Though, even now, the terribly strained relationship between Pityo and Telvo continues to creep me out. Yes, even knowing why Pityo looks down on his twin (more so than his other brothers) and knowing why Telvo is so close to Feanaro (down to the physical aspect of their affection for each-other), the older of the twins freaks me out. And I don't like the fact that he doesn't even want to spend a minute in his father's presence. There, you've done such a formidable job with this story that you've succeeded in making me dislike a Feanorion and wonder why in Arda did he not stay with his mother.
Feanáro paused to take a drink of wine from the goblet at his feet. The brothers exchanged worried glances while he was distracted, except Telvo, who nuzzled his father’s chest and linked his fingers into his own.
Awww... all this closeness and the tricky "I know something you don't!" attitude that Telvo is so blatantly perplexing Erestor with must be VERY intriguing to everyone else reading this story. Hei, even I let my mind go down that path and I wondered if there was a lot more between father and son than the other six Feanorions could accept.
I love the twist you've introduced... Erestor trying to fall in love with Kurvo's wife, just to escape his ever-growing Feanaro obsession. But it's obvious that there's no escape from it and from the fire in Feanaro's eyes. Just as Feanaro says: "You will learn of me…and I will learn of you" it becomes clear that Erestor is there for a reason and that it will change his life forever.
The tension is mounting as the story grows closer to the boiling points... Can't wait to read the next chapters again and to see the reaction of your other readers. *grins*
