dawn_felagund: (marriage is love)

Throughout the whole story, I like the way that you have described a community of characters and hierarchies. I like the way you have imagined the system works. Personally, I find this is very difficult to do and I admire the way you can describe these societies.

I spent far too much time thinking about this before beginning AMC and ever since, so I'm pleased to hear that it seems to be working! Too many stories seem to view a really rigid structure of servants and lords, but I can never believe that Elves would be content to mindlessly serve another for the whole of eternity. So I like the idea of young Elves assisting a person in their chosen profession, then moving up to apprentice and beginning to learn said trade, and eventually becoming masters themselves.

Eressetor, as you describe him, is such a private person. His sensitivity is like an open wound.

That's a good way to describe him. Though a little gross too. *shudddddder* ;^D Like his father, he likes to project a certain air...unlike his father, he is not nearly so stiff and single-minded. And everything that proves that to him seems a matter of great grief.

*SHHH! Talban! How'd he get in here?*

LMAO! Hi, Tal! :)

This is so true to life. If a marriage does not have a strong bond to begin with then it will never withstand a traumatic event.

His father would probably call Eressetor's conception a traumatic event in itself, since he never wanted children and views his son a "mistake." That was the start of the downfall of their marriage, and Eressetor's "aberrance" did them in, I think.

Poor Eressetor.... *pets*

Well, Feanaro will take care of him soon enough. *evil grin*
