I figured that they were pre-painted because there was no shading whatsoever...or at least I didn't see any. I would probably paint over them, but then I am a geek about these things! :^P
I'm looking at the pictures now (and the shading is better than I originally feared, I see!), and I'm pretty sure that we have those models here too. We have an old-fashioned toy store in the historic district called Mumbles & Squeaks that sells them.
Do we use elven or elvish? Or both? I used to used "elven" for all things and "elvish" for language, but maybe both therms are the same functional?
I'm with you. I used "Elvish" for language and "Elven" when referring to the people, i.e. "The three Elven races of Valinor" or "The three Elvish dialects used in Valinor." But I see both used interchangeably, so it's never been a detail that bothers me. Just personal preference!
They are great, you need to take good macro of your Finrod :D
When I post the pictures for your request, I will take new macros of all of the finished models. When I took them the first time, I'd just gotten my camera and didn't know all of its quirks like a do now so the pics came out blurry. But we get along better now. *pets camera*
