I love the mountains myself. :) And we here in Maryland are so lucky. Our state is called "Little America" because we have the seashore, the urban centers (Baltimore, DC), the flat meadows and forests, wetlands, and the mountains. All we're missing is desert and temperate rainforest to give a complete picture of the continental US.
If we drive about fifteen minutes west, we start seeing the mountains. It never fails to be an amazing experience.
