Last week's chapter made me cry, a very powerfully written beginning of the story - this chapter just left me sitting here open-mouthed and amazed. Wow. I mean, wow. I wouldn't have imagined the Halls of Mandos like that, but -- it fits. It fits perfectly. His recollections of the life he lost, the fear-yet-not-fear, memories of the search for the perfect rose - just everything. Wow.
