We had a cardinal nest, but sadly only one out of the five eggs hatched, and something must've gotten it (which is kind of icky because I think it might have been a rat - yuck. It could have been another bird though, I suppose). :( But cardinals tend to stay around the same place, so maybe they'll be back next year, with better luck.
We did have a baby dove somewhere. The family of three comes to play on the deck, and torment my cats. :)
