Thanks! I'm glad you checked back! I read some of your stories today but couldn't comment because I'm not a member of the site :( Anyway, I LOVED the story about Maglor and Daeron. The interaction between the two of them is so realistic, with Maglor being so sparse and almost unfriendly and Daeron trying so hard...the tension is natural, and when their relationship develops, it is all the more worthwhile! I will definitely be checking back and reading more.
I am glad that the characters are believable so far. So many of them--especially Caranthir--are little more than names in a line, and it was a challenge to give them personalities that would be believable. I try to remember that through all these epic, world-changing events, the characters have to be real people; that is what makes the storylines realistic.
But anyway, I am rambling :) Thanks again for checking back; I hope to be posting Chapter Three soon (then there might be a bit of a gap, as I haven't even begun editing the "Carnistir" section yet). Here's to hoping for a slow week next week at work! Dawn Felagund
