Oh, the Romans, such a mix of nastiness (gladiators and slaves) and organization. Amazing people. It took me half way thorugh the pics to associate the name of the place (Wallsend) with the, ok, wall. That's the kind of name that I suppose, must be common in these countries where past and present sit comfortably next to each other. Like steel structures next to 2000 year old stones. It does look weird though.
