Yes, the lack of stories where Feanor is not a) a bad father b) an abusive husband or c) just generally insane is what led me to start this ginormous distractionmonsterstory. I was reading some stories on ff.net and got POed by yet another such tale, popped a disk into my 'puter, and started a character study that--one year and 300 pages later--is this story. (And still unfinished--but getting close!)
I am hoping to update later this week, as soon as I fix the tense troubles in Carnistir's next chapter. Then there's four Nelyo chapters (thankfully) in present tense, so that should be smooth sailing.
