I think it's doubly hard here in cyber-land because the loss seems less real in a way; the person is just not posting any more, so it feels more like a vacation from online life than a permanent absence.
That's especially true for Roisin because she often had to take breaks, sometimes weeks-long, because of her illness. So I'd become rather accustomed to not hearing from her for long periods of time. It's required having to more actively face her loss; it would be very comfortable and easy to just sink into denial.
