We've been seeing a lot of bald eagles around here the past few years, enough that they are starting to become a little "eh." I'll don't think they'll ever be fully "eh," having grown up in an era where it seemed The Ol' National Bird might go really and truly extinct and where I didn't see one for real until late into adulthood.
We had a pair of them in the area about two years ago. Unfortunately, my puppies were small, so they were a source of constant anxiety and terror for me. Many a day I spent while the puppies peed, scanning the sky and treeline.
That's interesting about the music--something I'd never noticed!
