I can only agree with you in many points you made and I have to admit I never even thought of some of the points you've mentioned.
I've thought a lot about all of this. I'm working on a story about the reconstruction of Valinor/Tirion and Earwen's--and by default, Finarfin's--role in all of it. The story is supposed to be a novella but wants to be a novel, which is why I'm holding off on posting it, although I might post the first bit for Finarfin Appreciation Month. Hmmm. *will stop rambling now*
My point: I've thought a lot about it! ;^P
I've showed this to Caranthir and told him to think about it. Didn't go too well, though.
Lol! I'd imagine not! It seems to me that Finarfin Appreciation Month is just as good for pissing off muses as for appreciating Finarfin, since so many people have emailed/commented me to tell me that one or another Feanorian muses isn't speaking to them this month. ;)
Come to think of it, my Feanor's been awful quiet....
