We didn't have anything to explain SPSS, and that was probably the biggest problem. The TAs used to give us step-by-step instructions on how to do each problem in SPSS, but that didn't help to figure out how to do a problem on your own!
My mom always teases me that my brain is in sideways, so I am neither right- or left-brained, because I have a knack for math and logic and also writing and creative-type things.
And if you think bio majors are bad at math, you should try psych majors.... o.O
